Lured into Chinese occupied Tibet, Edgar Blake and two friends embark on a perilous journey into the unknown. A blind Tibetan monk, ancient in years - by human standards - has waited all his life to tell his incredible story.

Deep in the mountains, an amazing find - a revelation - that the hand of God has indeed been at work elsewhere in the universe.

The trio get caught up in a web of intrigue, not knowing who they can trust, with Chinese, Russian and American agents, lurking around every corner.

The story is set in Tibet, or the 'Tibet Autonomous Region', so called after the Chinese occupation in the fifties. It is land of untold beauty, myths, legends and secrets, and touches on the plight of the Tibetan people - their struggle to retain their culture, religion and dignity, under Chinese rule.
